Teaching

Learning that reaches the ward and the village

Teaching runs through both of my current roles: undergraduate and postgraduate sessions at AIIMS Bathinda, and field-based education that links the classroom to community practice.

Undergraduate medical teaching

Theory and demonstration classes for MBBS students on Community Medicine and public health topics, alongside postgraduate teaching and academic sessions for medical and nursing students.

Family Adoption Program

Field visits and household visits under the Family Adoption Program, linking classroom learning with community-based practice — including NCD risk profiling of adopted families.

Research mentorship

Mentoring undergraduate medical students in quantitative and qualitative research — study design, data collection, data management and analysis.

Qualitative research guidance

Guided seventh-semester MBBS students in a qualitative study exploring social media use among youth in rural Faridabad.

Journal clubs & academic discussion

Journal clubs, interactive discussions and academic activities that promote critical appraisal and evidence-based practice.

Medical education innovation
